Our well trained instructors will give the basic of surfing lesson in the swimming pool for 10 until 15 minutes to know your surf equipment, how to balance your body on the board, how your step on the board is, and how to paddle

After that, they will guide you to try the best, fun, and safe surfing lesson on the beach.

For two and half hours, our qualified instructors will watch over you and teach you how to find out how fun surfing is.

We can't remember how many times our Bali surf lessons students asking us wheres "the" best places to surf in Bali?, Well, we first thought about the question and there is just several possible answers, because Bali has several great surf sites.

So relating to the above, Odysseys Surf School Bali, have tried to classify the best surf spot that Bali has to offer with international recognition. In short we have classified the Bali surf sites by their area of location around Bali.

Padang Padang Bali Surfing

Padang Padang only starts to work when we have a big swell running. A sealed road will take you all the way to the top of the stairs that take you down to a beautiful beach in front of the reef. With easy paddle out through the channel.

Serangan Bali Surfing

Serangan is now known as the turtle area, to surf in Serangan you have to follow the By Pass Road to Sanur, but about half way there from Kuta you will see a mega wholesale store called the Makro just before the Makro on the opposite side of the road there is a new unsealed limestone road(white rock) turn in there and it will take down to the waves. This surfing spot is visited by many surfers of all kinds of surfing skill levels, people who only want to surf Bali or wish to learn how to surf in Bali.

Sanur Bali Surfing

There are two main reefs at Sanur Bali i.e. Sanur reef and Tandjung reef. To get there just follow the main road (Bye Pass Road) to Sanur and turn right at either of the two sets of traffic lights in Sanur.

The locals here are very wave hungry and possesive of their waves which can make it hard to get waves when it's under 5ft

Bingin Bali Surfing

group surfing lesson Bingin is the next reef south of Balangan Bali Surfing, for the most part it's always been pretty easy to find. Traveling from the Kuta area your on a good sealed road, but be warned the last 500 mtrs of unsealed road is bad, very bad. The reef is close to shore and only a short paddle out.

Bingin gets very crowded through the peak season, and the worst thing is there is only one small take off area.

Balangan Bali Surfing

group surfing lesson Balangan is located down towards the southern peninsula, it used to be a hard place to find but now there is a sealed road that will just about take you all the way in there. The reef is right infront of the beach and only a short paddle out required.
